About Dr. Sayres

Lauren Sayres, MD (she/her) is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She chose the field of maternal-fetal medicine because she was fascinated by the complex balance of maternal and fetal needs and motivated by the high energy environment of labor and delivery.

Dr. Sayers aspires to provide compassionate, respectful care to all people as they encounter the complexities of pregnancy. Her goal is to incorporate the latest medical evidence into each individual encounter while advancing much-needed research in the field. Her greatest strength when interacting with her patients is her drive to understand their goals surrounding their pregnancy in order to create a mutual framework for their medical care. She places a strong emphasis on uninterrupted listening in order to truly understand her patients' experience and strives to use clear, non-judgmental language.
