Education

  • Undergraduate: BS Mechanical Engineering, Rice University, Houston, Texas
  • Medical School: University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Houston, Texas
  • Residency: University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Chapel Hill, North Carolina
  • Fellowship: University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Maternal and Fetal Medicine Program, Chapel Hill, North Carolina

I prefer to not think of pregnant women as high or low risk but rather that they often have reasons that an MFM can add to their pregnancy care. I like to work with their primary provider to improve pregnancy outcomes and understand things we can do to empower and optimize their pregnancy. I especially enjoy working with families who have had complex prior pregnancies or anticipate a complex pregnancy to empower them to be confident in the pregnancy at hand.
